Designed by architect Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo, the building dates back to 1938 and is an example of Rationalist architecture. Located directly opposite the Mausoleum of Augustus and the Ara Pacis, it spans 14,000 m² across 7 floors (including one basement level). For this exceptional project, Zanini-San.co provided bespoke solutions: from fire-rated doors in varnished walnut wood (class B-s2,d0) to spectacular custom-designed fire-rated glass partitions with wooden frames. The latter, SA certified for smoke containment, reach nearly six meters in height and three meters in width, including arched glazed fanlights that are also EI’60 rated.
