Iconic museum project by the internationally renowned Iraqi architect and designer Zaha Hadid, the Maxxi Museum in Rome is still today considered one of his most important and representative architectural works. Born from the need to redevelop the entire neighboring military area, the museum is housed in the former Montello barracks, between old warehouses and houses from the 70s, its construction was the result of a long, complex process but which led to a result of great effect: characterized by irregular shapes and imposing dimensions, the Zaha Hadid museum has managed over the years to bring the Roman capital back to the center of contemporary art.
